Vincent started studying astrobiology at RPI in 2015 with a background in geology, and currently works at RARE as a Research Scientist.  His research focuses on the interactions between the environment and prebiotic chemistry, as well as the fate of biosignatures and the dissipative nature of life in far-from-equilibrium systems. He also designs and builds custom laboratory reactors and apparatus for simulating extreme environments analogous to those on the early prebiotic Earth and other ocean worlds.
