High School Research Student in RARE Selected for NASA SEES Program

The Rensselaer Astrobiology Research and Education (RARE) Center is excited to congratulate high school student Stella on her selection to participate in the NASA STEM Enhancement in Earth Science (SEES) internship program.

Stella was selected for the in-person component of the highly competitive program, where she will focus on planetary geology. As part of the internship, she will spend two weeks this summer at The University of Texas at Austin before continuing the remainder of the program online.

The SEES program provides students with opportunities to engage in authentic Earth and planetary science research while working alongside scientists and researchers connected to NASA missions and data.

We are proud to see Stella pursuing opportunities in planetary science and astrobiology research, and we look forward to following her work throughout the program.
