Perseverance Landing Watch Party
Perseverance Landing Watch Party
NASA’s Mars 2020 Perseverance rover will land on Mars on February 18, 2021. Perseverance, the most sophisticated rover NASA has ever sent to the Red Planet, is ferrying several cutting-edge technologies to the surface of Mars - including a helicopter named Ingenuity, the first aircraft to attempt powered, controlled flight on another planet.
The Rensselaer Astrobiology Research and Education Center (RARE) is proud to host a virtual landing party on February 18 at 2:30 pm EST. We’ll have a livestream of the landing and experts will be available to answer questions and discuss the mission.
Please RSVP to RARE@rpi.edu. RSVPs are encouraged, but not required to attend the event.
To livestream and ask our panelists questions please join us on Webex.
